Gracie & Dee are identical twin sisters born in Dublin, Ireland. Gorgeous, but cheeky they cause mischief and mayhem wherever they go while leaving a trail of broken hearts behind them.

Veronica lives in a large house with her husband and adoring housekeeper living a life of lavish extravagance enjoying the tender touch of women.

Georgina had a harsh upbringing in rural Cornwall on the family farm until the boys next door caught her kissing their sister. Leaving her home and running away to London, she dons male attire and lives her life as a hardworking man, George. Until she meets the ravishing fiery redheaded policewoman, Maggie.

Cassidy came to England many years ago from America. In London she bartends and manages the local women's club for 'salt of the earth' Fani, who lost her true love during the WW2 London blitz.

Jo is an androgynous photographer, who lives life to the fullest extent, wine, women and song! But yearns for more.

What other readers have said...

From the start of this book, I was drawn into the lives of these women, the scenes are set, described beautifully. You can almost smell the streets of the early morning markets. I was drawn in and felt I could have been there. The characters are diverse, they individually have a unique story, and though their lives intermingle, some are more lovable than others. I felt I was getting their personalities reveal themselves and wanted to know more with each page. Claire Frith - ARC Review

"A great Lesbian read. I really got into all the characters (of which there were many) and was totally absorbed in all their lives. Mostly the book is set in 60's London but included Cornwall too. It was really good to feel the complete difference of the two places. I felt the character of Smokie got left up in the air at the end - is there sequel on the way? - I'm hoping so. Two very talented writers. I would highly recommend this book." SAM - Amazon

"Outstanding first novel. Really enjoyed the read and couldn't put the book down. I particularly enjoyed the character development and by the end of the novel I was so bought into the characters I didn't want it to end. Think sex in the city meets the L Word, absolutely loved it! The authors have really pulled off creating characters that I am sure some of us have met, loved and possibly lost. Cannot wait for their next novel!" Andie T - Amazon

"Utterly enjoyable from start to finish. Absorbing and challenging it dragged me in to Soho 1969. Simply wonderful. Well worth the price - and it’s a chunky book too." S. Hall - Amazon

"Fantastic read, I didn't want to put the book down, the characters come alive and left me wanting to read more about them. Would love to read more books about the different characters. A must read for all!" G. Knight - Amazon

"I really enjoyed this book and found the characters came to life the more I read." S. Brown - Amazon
